Here's your review for HG Sply Co: --- We'd been wanting to check out HG Sply Co for a while — there's actually one closer to us in the Grapevine/Roanoke area, but I specifically wanted to visit this location for the rooftop. You can see the Dallas skyline from up there, and it's honestly pretty iconic. We timed it for golden hour during sunset, and wow — perfect call. Watching the light hit the buildings across the skyline while sitting up there was such a vibe. We just stuck to drinks and apps since that's what the rooftop menu offers (there's a full restaurant downstairs, but the rooftop is really the main draw). My one gripe: the beer selection needs work. As someone who likes trying different craft beers, I was let down by the tap list — mostly the standard stuff like Shiner Bock, Miller Lite, Goose Island, that kind of thing. Not much variety from smaller or local breweries. I did find one IPA, the Manhattan Project Half Life, and went with that. It was decent, but it wasn't served as cold as you'd want on a summer evening. Food-wise, the appetizer menu could use some love too. We were hoping for more finger-food style options, but fries were really the only thing in that category. Still giving it 4 stars — the views alone make it worth the trip, and it's a great spot to hang out with friends for sunset. Just hoping they expand the beer menu with more craft/brewery options and round out the appetizers with more shareable bites. Would still recommend for the rooftop experience alone!

We came right when they opened on a Sunday, and everything from start to finish was excellent. I ordered the Farmer's Hash, and my husband got the Breakfast Sandwich with the beef tallow potatoes. The Farmer's Hash was fresh, flavorful, and filling with perfectly cooked eggs, sliced avocado, and roasted vegetables. The breakfast sandwich was just as good, and the beef tallow potatoes were crispy, well seasoned, and a must order. The service was friendly, our food came out quickly, and the restaurant was clean with a great atmosphere. I honestly kept trying to think of something to critique, but everything exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back.

Food: I had the Campfire Skewers with Garlic Parm Chicken, with Golden Rice and Zucchini & Squash as my sides, and my partner had the Ahi Tuna Poke, with Street Corn on the side. We both really enjoyed our respective dishes! My chicken was cooked perfectly and married well with the Garlic Aioli and White BBQ housemade sauces that came on the side, and the rice was fluffy and flavorful. Left full and satisfied! Service: A+! Our server had a bubbly demeanor and was well versed with the menu. We took her up on her recommendations, and they ended up being *chefs kiss*. Also, she brought out a fly repellant, unprompted, after acknowledging the stubborn one at our table. Also, other people checked in on us as well—definitely felt attended to. Ambiance: Casual, modern, industrial. Parking: Street parking is available.

Dairy Free Friendly 💫 Food was delicious and the customer service lived up to the hype. Food came out quickly and hot. Our server was polite and patiently walked us through the menu and suggested the house favorites. The rooftop patio was a vibe. Rooftop menu is limited to select appetizers and drinks but was still worth the visit. We ate from the full menu downstairs (fish tacos & fries, farmhouse chicken with brussel sprouts and sweet potato hash) and then went upstairs for vegan queso and chips. Keep in mind parking! Per usual downtown is quite busy on the weekends. Several free places to park if you are willing to walk a bit.

Had such a great experience at HG Sply Co! We grabbed a spot on the rooftop and the atmosphere alone was worth it, amazing views and a really fun vibe. The nachos were absolutely delicious, easily one of the best things on the menu. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, and well put together. Perfect place to hang out, enjoy good food, and take in the city. Definitely coming back!

REBECCA!! Come to the front!! Me and a friend ended up here after our reservation got canceled at another restaurant. We came in curious.. but REBECCA!! Service? Amazing. Her attitude? My favorite. My friend and I came to catch up after months apart. Rebecca was essential to the atmosphere. She gave us recs, chatted, and was funny. The food was so great. Very fresh and tasty. This is single handedly one of the best places I've gone to eat around here that was also good FOR you. Thank you HG, for making a girls reunion so special.. we WILL be back! Love ya, Becca!

Excellent food!!! Clean w/ good oils, staff was SO friendly. Both server, Raygon, and manager, Nicole, made us feel right at home. Tenderloin bites, bison burger, chopped steak, brussel sprouts, and street corn are all absolutely to die for! If I could give more than 5 stars I would, cannot miss this place!!

Food and atmosphere was amazing!' Great place for a quick dinner or a time to catch up! They came around and offered sunset drinks. I ordered the Chicken skewers (garlic parm) with rice and brussel sprouts! If you like Brussels you will LOVE these! Ask for a fly swatter tho, the flies are bad.
